Since 2014, LeBarons have been crafting their unique style of independent alt-country. Lush, atmospheric soundscapes set the stage for Chris MacDonald’s vivid, lyrical stories. The latest album, Days Are Mountains (August, 2023) sees the band push beyond the confines of traditional “alt-country.” The lead single, “Through To You” (produced by Jason “Cone” McCaslin, Sum 41) was named in “best new Canadian music” by Exclaim; has received regular airplay on 94.9 The Rock, and will be included in the soundtrack to the indie feature, His Father’s Son (2024).
